SEBI has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Department of Telecommunications (DOT), Government of India on April 15, 2026.
The MoU was signed by Shri Sanjeev Sharma, DDG (AI&DIU), DoT and Shri Sandip Pradhan, Whole Time Member, SEBI, in the presence of senior officers from both the organizations.
DoT has developed a Digital Intelligence Platform (DIP), which is a secure platform for realtime intelligence sharing and coordination among various stakeholders, to combat cybercrime and financial frauds by enabling proactive action against the misuse of telecom resources
